Understanding the CARES Act - A FREE Webinar

Lewis Clark Valley Businesses, the City of Lewiston, and area economic development organizations are hosting an important webinar on April 9, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. to review the key aspects of the Congressional Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). Presenters from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will discuss and explain different aspects of the act and how it offers businesses, certain organizations and individuals financial relief related to the COVID-19 coronavirus. This will include a discussion of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) new Paycheck Protection Program, as well as changes to the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.Other topics to be discussed will include the new Employee Retention Tax Credit and provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act related to paid sick and FMLA.
