Description
Gary Chandler, VP of Governmental Affairs at the Association of Washington Business, works daily with our legislators, both democrats and republicans. He has been tasked with visiting communities to discuss the proposed legislation for paid family leave and introduce possible alternatives.
The purpose of the meeting on Tuesday, June 6 is to advise and gather input from businesses as Washington State moves forward.
He is working very closely with Sens. Fain (R) and Keiser (D), who have introduced SB 5829, which addresses paid family leave, and will be sharing your thoughts on their bill and other thoughts you may have.
